5THR Hybrid Tangential Rotor

  • Designed for high shear and reaction mixing
  • Silica mixing with coupling agent is one of the best applications
  • Kobelco cooling system 3.0 (Super high cooling system) applied
  • 5THR provides intermeshing mixing technology with tangential Mixers
  • 5THR has interchangeability with Kobelco 4-wing or 6-wing rotors
  • Even speed or friction ratio is possible

Intermeshing Rotor KIR II

  • High output and mixing efficiency
  • Good material feeding ability and faster RAM seating
  • Excellent ingredient dispersion
  • Excellent for silica fillers
  • Even speed only
  • Requires approx. 25% more drive power than 2-wing rotors

4-Wing N Tangential Rotor

  • Avoids excessive temperature build up during mixing
  • Better uniformity of batch temperature
  • Exceptional for “final batch mixing”
  • Excellent for silica fillers up to 80 phr
  • Rubber flow is more aggressive than other standard 4-wing rotors
  • Slimmer profile yields increased output / throughput
  • Lower energy consumption

6-Wing VCMT (Variable Clearance Mixing Technology)Tangential Rotor
